At CVS Pharmacy, customers need to know who to ask if they need help finding what they're looking for or have questions about a product -- and uniforms help accomplish that goal. CVS employees must wear black or brown colored pants and a company-issued shirt with a CVS badge. Pharmacists are required to wear a lab coat over casual business attire, while pharmacy technicians are told to wear scrubs.
Talk to the interviewer about times you have been required to wear a uniform. What are your thoughts on this? Be sure to keep your answer positive and avoid speaking poorly of the practice surrounding uniforms.

"Yes, I have worn a uniform for work at restaurant XYZ and as a retail manager for company ABC. I have seen the uniforms worn by the retail employees at CVS Pharmacy and see that it adds a strong level of professionalism. I also believe in wearing uniforms so the customers can distinguish employees from others."

"I think uniforms are a great way to provide a feeling of unity in the workplace, and it makes getting ready for a shift that much easier! I have worn uniforms at most of my previous jobs and have no problem doing so for CVS."

I am completely comfortable with wearing a uniform if needed. It is much easier to get dressed in a uniform, and I think it adds to a strong level of professionalism.
