Bain prides itself on being guided by what they call their True North. This is their "unwavering and shared commitment to always do the right thing by our clients, our people, and our communities." They also state that "doing the right thing is rarely easy, but always worth it." They expect their employees to be mutually committed to keeping each other and themselves safe by working safely, celebrating diversity with respect, and speaking up and raising any concerns. They expect every employee to be a mutual stakeholder in these commitments to do the right thing.

"If the situation proved appropriate, I would follow the chain of command and report it to my immediate supervisor. However, if a supervisor exhibited questionable behavior, I would follow the guidelines for an alternate approach, whether through HR or a hotline. I have a lot of integrity and know that doing the right thing isn't always easy, but I take pride in doing my job and adhering to the code of conduct, and following through on my commitments is part of the job."
