"I have worked with every type of child from all different backgrounds- children are children. I worked at the head start and also in private schools."

      Stephanie's Feedback

It's evident that you've had a lot of experience with kids from all kinds of different backgrounds, which is wonderful. I would, however, suggest restating and further developing the line about "children are children." Depending on the interviewer, this could be misunderstood to mean that you don't acknowledge different backgrounds, which might rub that individual the wrong way. In the "Revised Answer" box, I have included an example of how this might be restated.
"Over the years, I have worked with children from all different backgrounds in terms of race, ethnicity, language, gender identity, socioeconomic status, and ability. I have experience in many different educational spaces, ranging from Head Start to private schools. I believe that all children deserve early education and support, and I am skilled at maximizing each child's unique strengths."
