Question 16 of 30

Describe a process improvement you made that increased donations to your organization?

"When I joined my current fundraising team, the organization had a very limited digital presence including a Facebook page and a website with minimal functionality. Our programs are focused on providing affordable healthcare based on a sliding scale, and I knew we had an opportunity to appeal to a younger demographic not currently represented in our donor base. Because of increasing interest in this issue among Generation Z, I proposed pursuing smaller, targeted social media campaigns with one-click donation enhancements. We revamped our website to include video testimonials from real clients and streamlined the donation process. I worked closely with our communications team to advise them on creating additional social media pages and devised strategies for boosting digital engagement. In the end, we saw traffic to our social media and website pages increase by more than 500%, which resulted in an additional $25,000 a year in monetary donations."
