One of the job duties of a building inspector is to have strong communication and interpersonal skills. If you want to be considered for the position, you want to avoid saying that you are uncomfortable presenting your findings to stakeholders. If you are uncomfortable presenting information, it is best to practice your public speaking and presentations skills before your interview. You can take communication courses, join public speaking groups, read books, and watch videos to help improve these skills.

I conduct quarterly meetings with 50 people and also do one on one evaluations, so I'm very comfortable presenting to other people.

Awesome! You sound confident about speaking in front of other people. Now go just a little farther by exuding confidence in your abilities and gaining the trust and faith of the stakeholders you'll present to.
I am well versed, and quite comfortable with public speaking. I conduct quarterly meetings to over 50 people at a time, so I’m very comfortable presenting to other people. But, more importantly, I am confident in my skills and qualifications as a building inspector. I have a keen attention to the details, and thinking outside of the box, I identify issues others often glance over. I have an inquisitive nature, love what I do, and have several references as well.

I would not have any issues with doing that. I often gave presentations to the management and proposed policy and procedures to them in my previous work.

Rachelle's Feedback
This experience that you bring in presenting policies and procedures will be highly valuable to you as a building inspector. You sound very confident, which is great! If you could add a splash of information regarding your communication style, that may be helpful information to include while further qualifying yourself.
