I am passionate about inspecting buildings to prevent people from being taken advantage of. I've always loved watching home improvement shows and became amazed at how some contractors cut corners and take advantage of people who have put their trust in them to do a professional and safe job. Families are living in these structures, and people work in the commercial buildings, worrying about whether or not their home or workplace is safe shouldn't be a concern.

Rachelle's Feedback
You have an incredibly clear passion, and your reasons seem very genuine. This is a wonderful answer.

Having been around construction since I was a child, following my Dad around, I have always had a passion for building. With my desire to do things right, I could help the building community with quality inspections.

Rachelle's Feedback
You bring up some significant professional drivers! I suggest digging a bit deeper into your answer. For instance, rather than saying, 'I have always had a passion for building,' try being more descriptive regarding the areas of building that are most important to you. I have offered a starter for you below.
"What makes me passionate about inspecting buildings is my desire to build a safe community. As a building inspector, I can ensure that our community's structures are built right through quality inspections. I have been around construction since I was a child, following my dad around as he (what was your dad's role?). These experiences built an early passion for construction, particularly safe inspections."
