"A few months back, I was able to work on a project that took water samples from a few lakes on the east coast. We were able to use those samples to assist with a filtration process that helped to make the water safe for wildlife to drink. It was a very rewarding project."

In my current position, we are working on publishing a systematic review. Two students are currently working on the review, which is a low number, to begin with. Typically, it's recommended that 4-5 work on it at a time. Additionally, the other student had to take a leave of absence. So the entire workload was my responsibility. Although it was stressful, all of the data was collected in the timeframe needed. Now we are publishing the review and the paper will benefit the scientific community to serve as a foundation for Chagas disease research.
Marcie's Feedback
Wow! That's impressive. So it was a systematic review of Chagas disease? Consider giving some more details about it and why it's important so the interviewer understands the necessity of the review and why it was undertaken in the first place. You could also give more details about how you managed to handle the workload - did you break it down into manageable tasks? Did you delegate any of the work to others? The more information you can give, the stronger your answer will be. Great job!
