Where do you see yourself five years from now?

The interviewer wants to hear that you have goals for your future and that you are determined to reach those goals. The interviewer will also try to determine if those goals are reachable at the company that you are interviewing for and get an idea of what your longevity with the company may be.

Talk about any short and long-term career goals you may have. The interviewer likely wants to hear that you want to grow and that their company is a great place for you to do so. If you are interested in longevity with the company, it is a good time to express that now.

"Within the next five years, my main focus is to grow my skillset while making an impact on the community through projects involving water quality improvement for wildlife and the lives of individuals. I feel that I have a lot of knowledge to offer your company but I am also eager to continue learning throughout my career."
