"In my most recent position, I struggled a bit when I first started because there was no one doing the actual position that I was hired for. I was basically learning as I went along in the position. I was constantly having to interrupt others from their workday to assist me in learning a task. Eventually, I asked my group leader if I could possibly shadow a team member in the positions both below and above mine to learn the basics of what they did so that it would help me to piece together what I needed to do. This was extremely helpful in me understanding exactly what my responsibilities were."
