This question aims to determine how team-oriented you are. WTW's ideal candidates prioritize the goals and success of their teams over their own goals or ambitions. They are looking for employees who are united. "Our team is our greatest strength. We're passionate, creative and energetic. We put people at the heart of what we do. It's what allows us to create meaningful employee experiences that inspire and engage people, change behaviors and drive business success."
HireVue states: "All candidates applying to a position will receive the same set of questions, selected by the hiring company. Additionally, each candidate has the same amount of time to review the questions, and prepare their responses, giving all candidates the same interview experience and an equal shot at putting their best foot forward. Maximize your comfort level and share your experiences and skills as naturally as possible. This is an opportunity to share your story as a candidate."
Depending on the assessments you take, you may be evaluated for your problem-solving skills and your cognitive ability, or as HireVue describes, your "reasoning, visuospatial, ability, mental agility, numerical ability, coding proficiency, job-specific knowledge, language proficiency, writing skills." The algorithm will classify your personality according to the "big five personality traits" based on how it observes your personality, work style, and sense of ethics. But you have a degree of control over how it classifies you based on how you present yourself. So meditate on what it means for you to drive success for your teams. Reflect on your best moments. Focus on the camaraderie, how you worked together, were united with pride for your accomplishments, and let your confidence and emotional maturity shine.

"A colleague asked if I would assist them with recruiting the finance teams of a company they were consulting with. I was in-between projects and agreed. Truth is, it felt great to be part of their team and to help them with their vision. I learned a few things from their approach and had a great time driving their vision forward. I felt instrumental in communicating their vision to the rest of our teams. Ultimately, it was a tremendous success. I feel stronger for it, and much of what I learned I have adjusted and adopted to my own way of doing things."
