Question 3 of 35

Tell me about one of your strengths and one of your weaknesses.

"I'm very team-oriented and love helping others succeed as much as I enjoy being successful myself. I know one of Syneos Health's core values is to "collaborate to deliver solutions." When I read that, I knew I would align with the culture because I place such a high value on this. Even if I'm not in a leadership role, I naturally gravitate toward the encouraging coach/mentor role. I'm also happy to support another team member so they can enjoy time off with their family or loved ones.

However, sometimes I struggle to say no to additional tasks when my plate is full. I'm a team player, love to help others, and like to be seen as someone reliable, so I'm inclined to say yes when others need help. I'm working on being more honest with myself about what I can accomplish in my forty-hour week and limiting how many extra projects or tasks I take on."

      1st Answer Example

      2nd Answer Example

"I'm an outside-the-box thinker and love creative solutions. I thrive on being given a problem with no apparent solution and being allowed to dive into the issue, understand the ins and outs, what system is currently in place, and, if there is none, build that process from the ground up. I love collaborating with others in these situations but am just as happy to problem solve independently."

As for a weakness, I am a fixer; sometimes, I take the quicker route of doing the task for someone instead of taking the extra time to teach them how to do it themselves. I am more intentional in the tasks I take on and encourage others to self-help where possible and then do a screen share to help them learn the task."
