"I volunteered for a small, local organization while in school. I noticed that the onboarding of new volunteers was very disorganized and chaotic. Once I got settled into my role there, I volunteered to create a streamlined onboarding process for new volunteers. It included an orientation schedule and agenda with different leaders covering certain topics. I also printed all the paperwork and made packets so everything was in one place. I surveyed the new volunteers, and all rated the onboarding and orientation process as excellent!"
