9. I have six years of experience in customer service roles in the hospitality industry, where I would engage with hundreds of customers daily, alongside my colleagues, supervisors, and often times the business owners themselves. Excellent oral and interpersonal communication is necessary for any success in these roles, and these are skills I was able to develop to an excellent quality during my time. I accredited these skills with an online certificate after I undertook the E-Learning course: Communication and Interpersonal Skills at Work. Additionally, I have excellent written communication skills, honed through my four years in higher education, my role as a student journalist, and demonstrated through the success of my master's thesis, which I am now editing for publication in a journal of sociology.
