Question 10 of 35

Due to the nature of the role, you may sometimes be required to complete some lengthy data input tasks. How will you ensure you remain focused and motivated on the task at hand?

"I have held several roles requiring lengthy data entry over the course of my career. It is a responsibility I handle on a regular basis in my current role at XYZ company. I use a variety of technical best practices and tricks I've developed over the years to ensure my speed and accuracy in this area. For example, I use templates and a series of validation tools to assist with accuracy. I've also spent time improving my typing speed.

Lengthy data entry can be draining both physically and mentally without using the right tools. I optimize my workspace for the task and use proper ergonomics. I break the work up into reasonable chunks and take breaks as needed. Finally, I dedicate time in my calendar for data entry during times when I am unlikely to be disturbed by my coworkers."
