I just read Time for Change by Luis Cruz. It provides a framework for walking a team through needed changes and emphasizes the importance of conveying the WHY, the WHO, the HOW to the team, and then executing the plan. I lead a group of assistant principals through this process using case studies and scenarios. It has been great seeing the assistant principals grow in their abilities to connect with others.

I am presently reading a book called You Are The Team. It's how to positively interact with team members when you are not in charge and focuses on lifting others and celebrating teammates. I have started implementing some of the strategies that have expanded my thinking as I am working with others.
