I am passionate about public education as a means to maintain and improve our way of life. My grandmother was a teacher, and she inspired me to ask questions and influence others always to try their best and do as much as they could to help others. I loved every position I have had in education, but if I can do more and serve more people, then I should try - like I ask others to do.

I honestly can't say I chose this. In fact, if I look at my career, there are certain roles I would never have expected. However, I applied because I care about the students here in this community, and I believe that we have the potential to be a top district in the state. I am a strong leader and follow a plan of action, so I know that my skillset makes me a perfect fit for this district.

I have always known I wanted to be a superintendent. I come from a family of educators, and my dad and uncle were former superintendents. It would be rewarding to have the opportunity to give back to all the educators who helped me.
