"As previously discussed, a firewall is either hardware software that controls which data packets are allowed to enter the network as well as what users are permitted on the network. A gateway, on the other hand, connects two disparate networks and allows them to communicate with each other. Gateways and firewalls can be configured to work with each other. Can I ask if your organization is experiencing issues with connecting networks or preventing unauthorized users access to your network?"
