Question 11 of 30

When you have a lot of work to do, how do you get it all done? Give an example?

"It seems like there are always more tasks to complete than time to do them. I'm able to keep up with my assignments by prioritizing the most important tasks and working on them first. The system I use determines if a task is important and urgent. I focus on the most important and urgent tasks first. Then I turn my attention to items that are still important but less urgent. Once these are complete, I work on urgent tasks which are not that critical. When possible, I delegate tasks to people who either have more time or better skills to complete them."

      How to Answer

As a computer network architect, you need to budget your time carefully because the job requirements often are greater than the time allotted to complete them. The interviewer is looking for a response that indicates you know how to prioritize the most critical tasks and possibly delegate tasks that can be done by somebody with lesser skills.
