Tell us about the last time you had to negotiate with someone.

This happened on my previous work whereinI had to negotiate with a client to submit necessary documents to process the transactions, those are the documents set by the bank in order to push through with the transaction, but unfortunately the client doesnt have those documents,I wouldnt want to lose the business because she is a big client, so I had to think out of the box, find ways where both parties will benefit without putting the company at risk, documents would still be submitted but at a later date, with an agreement to fulfill on the promised time.

2. I have to negotiate with kids all the time at work. I have to negotiate them getting a shot in exchange for a sticker.

3. Negotiation was a key function of my position at CHK. Highlighting the current or potential benefits associated with a particular asset was thrilling.

4. At my current job I had to negotiate prices with a distribution center.

5. I like to sell different items on ebay/craigslist, so I encounter various offers on my items. I am willing to accept offers which I believe are fair, but I usually try to counter offer so I can benefit more. I will use other similar items which are more expensive to show that the buyer is getting a good value, hopefully convincing them to buy from me.

6. Jane didn't want to eat her meal - had to use prompting and persuade her.
