Team member was having skill issue, gave him enough training and gave him full encouragement. Encouragement was received in positive way and the result was perfect.

I had a co worker who needed a lot of encouragement when students chose not to attend our university. She was an allumni and felt offended when they didn't see our school as the right choice. I was able to encourage and motivate her by explaining reasons why it was a benefit that the student hadn't chose our university. When she was able to see the benefits and how they outweighed the decision the student had made, she was encouraged.

I would explain the task, show how the task would be easier done a certain way by hands on demosration which should encourage them to do well.

I am always honest when providing feedback and I am able to have crucial conversations in a non-threatening but encouraging format.

They were very negative so I can turn that frown upside down and made them smile and told them just because were out of the product doesn't mean we shouldn't recommend another project.

I do believe I am a strong leader in my organization. I have led a team on many occasions personally and professionally, in business, community as well as sports venues.

Yes, As I stated earlier, I have led several multidisciplinary subcommittees toward the ultimate goal of program certification. Not to mention I was the nurse manager of 80+ employees and was in responsible for staffing, employee issues, patient issues, and employee health.

Held meeting regarding a theme party.. It was excellent.

I have facilitated meetings quite frequently. When those opportunities arise, I begin with an agenda of specific items to be discussed and timelines for each. I have also reached out to the group involved in the meeting to see if there are any concerns they may feel important to include. This helps meetings to result in efficiency and effectiveness to accomplish the objective for the meeting.

I have been a project lead many times on events and activities. Although I am the lead, I know there are others that are better at certain tasks necessary to complete the project/organize the event. So I reach out to them and ask them for their assistance and expertise to create the best outcome we can have.

Leading 5 different sub committees to achieve a certification is one that requires input from several contributing parties. I generally chose the individuals who I feel would best complete the task in the specified timeline.

My manager had to leave early .. There was a corporate event .. I had to greet and welcome foreign guests and delegates.

Tasked with a project for the entire corporation, a large collaborative effort was needed to complete the project. At the halfway point of the project it was decided that the corporation was no longer going to move in that direction and instead were going to change efforts. The work that had been done prior was simply discarded. It was disappointing that the project was dropped, but was hopeful that sometime in the future it can be resurrected and completed.

Arranged a party function for kids .. A magic show but kids were more interested in games and pool.

I had to give an employee a poor performance when they did not follow the procedures and it cost the department.

One employee had will issue in performing so had to give him about is poor performance review, made him understand to improve on it. He understood the information and improved his performance.

I had a student worker who was late to work almost every day. She had a lot of health issues and family problems, but her work ethic suffered and became worse over time. I had to have a difficult discussion with her about being late regardless of situations at home. I am an empathetic person and felt bad, but knew that our university was being affected by her lack of effort.

I generally will give a poor performance review if the employee has demonstrated that they deserve this. For instance, as a nurse manager, I would review the overall performance, then I would look to see if they had any coaching sessions and determine from there if they either made improvements or it needed to be addressed in the performance review.

Transforming people with all different backgrounds, opinions, ethics, and ideas into a team and creating an environment where they work well as a collective group and team.

Making everyone happy. Some decisions are made because that is what is best for the organization. However, I always provide clarification on why the decision was made and set clear expectations for performance.
