The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine has been ranked as a top 5 program in the US for numerous years, according to the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate and Professional School rankings. Since the school only accepts 162 veterinary students per class, you must have a plan if you are not accepted.
The Admissions & Recruitment team at OSU College of Veterinary Medicine want to know that you have thought out all options and scenarios. They also want to see that you would not give up after receiving one 'no.' Whatever the path you choose, you must show the admissions interviewers that you have the confidence and drive required to reach your goals.

"Ohio State University is a top-ranking school, and I understand the odds of being accepted are not in everyone's favor. I am confident in the chance of being accepted; however, should I not be accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine the first time, I plan to reapply the following cycle. I would take the time to upgrade any required courses and prepare an even stronger application for the next opportunity. My life's goal is to become a veterinarian, and I certainly wouldn't take one rejection as a final answer."
