"One of my most influential mentors is my current veterinarian that I work for, Dr. Poduszlo. He is no ordinary mentor. He had a very unorthodox way of teaching, but I always learned how to be better and take a different approach to veterinary medicine. He always kept it objective and kept it straight with me even if the criticism came out harsh. It was never it' okay, don't worry. It was don't be sorry, be better. He would always teach me something I could never forget and it made me the person and student I am today. He pushed me the most because he saw the most potential in me as a future veterinarian. In order to have the best growth, you have to be bent and broken the most."
