Stress can often be a regular part of the day to day work experience. Talk to the interviewer about which areas of your career are the most stressful. Ensure that your answer does not include a factor that would make you appear unfit for the position. (IE: a bus driver should not find driving to be the most stressful part of the job).

"The part of my career that brings me the most stress is when the schedule is running behind due to lack of hustle on mine or my teams part. I like to be on time with my schedule to ensure that our patients and clients are assisted properly."

Being overwhelmed with multiple patients having medical emergencies in the same timeframe. During COVID, many of our residents became sick at the same time. We were understaffed, and even members of our management team became ill. I was the nurse in charge of the facility during my shifts. Fortunately, we were able to get appropriate care for those in the most acute situations, but being the nurse in charge, I felt overwhelmed and out of control.

Stephanie's Feedback
This sounds super stressful--my hat is off to every healthcare provider who worked during the COVID pandemic! To strengthen the impact of this response, I suggest adding a sentence at the end to share how you handle stress. For example: "Even though healthcare can be very stressful, I do my best to stay focused on patient outcomes and try to take good care of myself outside of work."
