Good answer! It sounds like you have developed an effective way to deal with work-related stress. Your experience of working in a fast-paced environment will assure the interviewer of your ability to succeed in this type of environment. I've revised your answer slightly for clarity and flow, and to emphasize your leadership potential in the professional language your interviewer will more likely relate to.
When approaching stressful situations, you have to separate the stress from the situation. The second the stress affects emotional output, that will blur the otherwise clear path forward. So I handle the situation by taking it one step at a time. I work fast in a fast-paced environment, and I thrive in such environments.
