It's good that you have learned to adapt! Depending on the nature of your role, I recommend avoiding comments that suggest you are not naturally a friendly or approachable individual (you say you work very hard to be outgoing, approachable, and friendly). Most decision-makers will assume that, under stress, you will default to your comfort zone (not outgoing, not approachable, unfriendly). As an introvert, you may be more comfortable working independently or being in a more reflective setting, but I'd argue that this doesn't make you unfriendly. Perhaps a more constructive approach is to focus on the traits you feel match Grady Memorial's needs. For instance, being flexible, optimistic, and encouraging are likely traits that the hiring company would value if you are in a training role. I've offered an example for you below.
