While working in a team environment is also required as you collaborate with coworkers and other healthcare professionals, Dignity Health is looking for healthcare professionals who are confident in their skills and feel comfortable working alone. The interviewer asks this question to see that you can work independently and not need to be closely supervised if hired.

"I am very comfortable working independently. I work well in a team environment as well as independently. I have worked as a healthcare professional for five years and have often worked alone with patients, except when I need to collaborate with team members of other healthcare professionals. I do not prefer close supervision as I am confident in my skills. If I have a question or require assistance from my supervisor, I do not hesitate to ask them."
