"I learned a lot from working with them. Whether you're taking on new skills or you're finding yourself adapting to different communication styles, there's always something to learn. What I find interesting is how some people lead through the integrity of their character and how some lead the way they think they're supposed to lead instead of letting their nature guide them. I think when leadership is forced, or not abiding by one's own character, it often results in too forced an approach, causing you to trip over your own feet and rub a lot of people the wrong way. I got along well with my previous boss, though not everyone did. So, that's worth examining. But for my part, I got along with them quite well. As I said, I learned a lot."

I had an amazing relationship with my last boss. She is a skilled attorney and supervisor. I always admired her intelligence and organizational skills. She is also one of my friends and we've worked on projects and spend time together outside of work.
