If you had a few absences for good reason, they will be understanding. However, if you exceeded your allotted sick and personal days and don't have a reasonable excuse, the interviewer will question your reliability.
Be honest. Remember, the company may contact your current or previous employer, ask this question, and discover if you've been dishonest. Even if you have significant absences, you are more likely to be hired if you are honest than if you are dishonest.
