Your interviewer doesn't expect you to be perfect. However, they do expect you to be aware of your shortcomings and to have a plan to work on those areas. When describing your weakness, be specific about how that weakness affects your work and how you intend to improve.

1st Answer Example
"I sometimes have trouble asking for help, especially when I think I should be able to handle the task. Often, I'll struggle with the task alone rather than asking a coworker, which usually means the task takes longer or doesn't get done right. In a recent performance evaluation, my manager told me he'd rather I ask for help than take the extra time or do a job incorrectly. It's taken some practice, but I've gotten better at asking for help. I've also asked my coworkers to let me know if they see me struggling. That way, I'll learn how to recognize when I need to ask for help."

"I think my biggest weakness concerning retail is my lack of experience. I've worked in food service, so there are some overlapping skills, but it will take some time for me to get used to this new environment.
