Have you ever worked retail, in a high stressful situation? Describe it to me.

Yes, when I worked at subway, when there is a line out the door and you are trying to get them out in a quick and friendly mannor and then suddenly a customer flips out becuase we put mayonase on it when they didnt want it. I would just ask calmly if they wanted a new one and appalogize profusly. If they said yes then I would remake it with a smile on my face.

I have not worked retail but in the food jobs ive worked at there have been situations like that. Like a customer coming in and complaining about how bad the food was, I would just offer to give them a new one for free or give their money back and apologize alot for it.

How would you handle an upset customer?

I would calmly listen to the customer and try to make them happy with in reason of what I am allowed to do.

Try to keep calm, listen to their complaint and when they are done speaking, try to offer them help to the best of my ability.
