In my last post as a junior editor I was entrusted with writing a biography about model and blogger Ruth Crilly. She retweeted and shared the piece, praising it as her favourite bio of herself. This was highly rewarding and improved our social media following.

My last job was a sales job and they had a hammock on display that could be won. At first I posted a picture on social media stating I want to win the hammock at all cost. Then I found I was in the lead all had to do was keep the lead. So I did and 2 months later I brought the hammock home. That success story was based off determination.

My most successful story was when I was part of the Executive Board of AIESEC in Universiti Putra Malaysia for the term 13/14. My position in the team was Vice President for Corporate Relations, leading a team of 9 young individuals, including two directors. We were able to raise 6 new opportunities establishing partnership with local companies to provide internship opportunities for talents abroad to gain experience in Malaysia. At the end of my term, all of my junior executives have chosen to take up different roles in the next term and our EB team was very well bonded too.

I ws working with this person in a project, he was always distance when we were discussing the different components of the project. I was a huge project, so we needed everyone to work on it. So in the meetings I started asking him questions by first calling his name so he starting giving ideas about the project. He did not know much about the project so we gave him an easy part, that he could solve esily and so he starting liking the project and offer for writing the report.

We had a client who wanted to put together a large scale tasting and seminar in the span of 4 weeks. We were able to convince our client that the quality of this event would not be ideal but instead planned for two small tasting events with top quality media and a series of one on one tasting with high influencer bloggers. Our client was extremely happy and we were able to secure quality media coverage while staying under budget.

It depends on the task at hand, when it comes to exploring a range of ideas, team work always works best with multiple input, however I do enjoy working individually as sometimes it takes work individually for the team to succeed.
