Have you ever helped train a friend? How did that work out?

Answer examples and advice for how to answer this interview question for a Personal Trainer interview

Advice
"Training a friend can be more difficult than training a client, because we already have a relationship. I tried to train a friend who wanted to lose weight, but it was hard to get the same kind of commitment from them. We often ended up hanging out."

How is training a friend different from training a client? How would you treat them differently? With a client, they come to your gym with the intention of working out and eventually achieving their fitness goals. When you trained a friend, did you treat them the same way? Did you set goals and expect them to follow through?
Basic answer example
