"For me, the best way I can come ready to work each day is by ensuring that I have a healthy work-life balance, and this starts for me with my family. Outside work, I stay fit and mentally challenged by coaching my kid's baseball and basketball teams throughout the year. These activities bring joy to both my children and me. On top of coaching, working as a Medical Lab Tech requires long shifts on my feet, so I stay in shape by working out regularly and also getting plenty of sleep at night."

"Life as an ER Nurse, where working 12-hour shifts is the norm, requires me to strike a balance outside work so I am refreshed and ready to go when I report for my next shift. This starts with a good sleep schedule and plenty of rest. Whether working a rotating shift between days and overnights or a straight shift, I take time for rest when needed. Outside of work, I love being outdoors fishing, hiking, and canoeing, and these things make an impact on my ability to mentally relax and recover outside of work."
