We had a team leader at the ICU, we had to organize together to provide the best patient care possible. We had a tech at times but not always. So if I was available I would help with blood sugars and temps. If not the person with the lightest patient load would check on their teammates. The team was great because everyone was willing to help. I usually played the role of team leader.
