Microsoft gets around two million job applicants every year for the many jobs that they recruit for. This volume means that competition for this role will be tough, and the interviewer wants to know precisely why they should hire you over anyone else. Bragging about yourself in an interview can be tough to do, but this is your time to shine! Prior to your interview, think about which characteristics and career accomplishments make you a stand-out candidate for this role with Microsoft. Perhaps you have received some academic awards or have been given individual accolades in your most recent position. There is nobody like you, and now you need to express that to your interviewer.

"I am the best candidate for you because I have a consistent history of exceeding my professional goals primarily due to my interest in continuing my education. I have been promoted two times in the last two years with my current company, which is nearly unheard of there. In addition to these successes, I have excellent programming skills which I will put to work immediately after being hired by Microsoft."

You've clearly stated that your level of experience makes you an ideal candidate. However, you can strengthen your answer further by repeating back to the interviewer what you've learned from them about the kind of person they're looking for to fill the role. Doing so makes it clear that you've been listening to the interviewer, and you've been considering the challenges the role presents.
For example, you could say, "Could I tell you what I've what I think you're looking for, and you can tell me if I've understood correctly. Does that sound okay? You're looking for someone with experience providing excellent customer service, the ability to lead high-value team projects, and extensive Microsoft product knowledge. I have many years of experience in IT project management, requiring extensive stakeholder management and attentive customer service in a team-based environment, which I believe makes me a stand-out candidate to join your team."
