"As social media platforms continue to change the capabilities and functionalities they offer, companies such as Marketo will need to react quickly to provide tools that allow marketers to take full advantage of them. With multiple social media platforms available and changes both major and minor occuring on a continual basis, it is a challenge to remain current. There are many players in the industry providing social media marketing tools, making it all the more difficult to remain informed of technology trends. Despite these changing trends, the programming skills I have are still used in the development of most of the tools being offered. In addition, my product development planning skills will also help Marketo reach its product goals. Marketo will need to continually stay ahead of the changing trends so it can become a leader in the industry instead of a follower."
