Companies want to know they are hiring loyal employees who have a keen eye for keeping costs under control. These measures include loss prevention and theft prevention measures. The employer needs to know that you are not wasteful. Give the interviewer a couple of examples of how you succeeded in protecting assets or found a way to do your job more efficiently.

"Like any company, Kia has a duty to its manufacturer to protect the assets. In my previous position, if I didn't have a customer shortly before the end of my shift, I did a lockdown of all vehicles where I walked the inventory and ensured that all the doors to the cars were locked. This simple act prevented anyone from coming at night and stealing a car. The manager saw me do this and thought it was a good idea, so he called the team together and made it part of the dealership closing duties. I'm looking forward to bring that same kind of commitment to your dealership."
