The testing of products on animals has been a long time controversy in the consumer products realm. Discuss with the interviewer your thoughts on testing consumer products on animals.
"Science has come a long way, and the need to test health and beauty products on animals is minimal, if not non-existent. Overall, I'm of the mind that products should not contain harmful chemicals and the more natural they are, the better. One of the things I've enjoyed learning about Jo Malone as part of the Estee Lauder portfolio is its goal to source ingredients responsibly and sustainably with respect for local communities and the environment."

I don't one hundred percent agree with testing on animals, but I would say as long as the animals are safe, then it's fine.

Stephanie's Feedback
In the "Revised Answer" section, I have provided a suggested revision of this response to improve clarity and impact.
I would prefer not to test on animals whenever possible. However, I understand that animal testing is widely used in the consumer industry and is often necessary. As long as the testing is performed safely and does not harm the animals, I am fine with it.
