Management Consultants know very well that a strong professional network can mean all the difference in their business. The interviewer would like to see how you go about networking, and how active you are in your industry. Maybe you attend your local Chamber of Commerce events, or you belong to a local organization where you meet potential clients and business comrades.

"I am very focused on building my professional network. For the past six months, I have enjoyed membership at the local Chamber of Commerce. I have also joined a consultants mastermind, where we meet once every quarter to share tools and resources, and also client success stories."

I have been actively networking on LinkedIn by getting Premium and opening my settings to recruiters and reaching out to people. I think LinkedIn is a great platform to evaluate and find companies that align with your skillsets. I also reach out to people currently working in positions that I find interesting and discuss their roles with them and receive advice on navigating the healthcare job circuit right now.

I can see where you're going with this response. LinkedIn is a valuable tool and it sounds like you're using it primarily as a job search tool. You can enhance this response by talking about any other ways you're strengthening your network outside of your job search activities. Have you joined any professional associations or online groups? Have you attended any in-person or virtual recruiting events or industry conferences? If so, talk about how these have impacted your professional network.
