Always try to prepare a question or two that shows the interviewer that you're curious and interested in learning more. You can also use this time to gather more information about what your potential role might be. Since the Marketing Assistant role is such a broad title, knowing exactly what jobs the company has for you to do will help you learn if it's what you expected.
It's always a great idea to have questions ready for the interviewer. Review the company website and other online resources to ensure the queries you have are not mundane, or redundant. The last thing an interviewer wants to hear is a list of items you could have found the answers for from merely watching a video on their company site!
Here are some sample questions:
- When would you like to have this position filled?
- Is there anything from my background and experience that I can clarify for you?
- Is there any reason why you would not hire me?

"What are some ways I could be of immediate assistance to you? Once hired, which leaders and team members will I most often be interacting with?"
