Question 1 of 40

When you encounter academic difficulty, how do you react?

"When I encountered academic difficulty during my undergrad program, I recognized the issue early and approached my professor for additional information or study resources. With these resources, I increased the time spent reviewing the class material. A few times, I engaged another person to increase my understanding of the topic. For instance, during my biophysical chemistry class this year, I fell behind as we approached the subject of molecular interactions. To ensure my success, I hired a Department of Chemistry tutor. This approach was beneficial, and I gained a much clearer understanding of the subject, which improved my grade. Should I have difficulties while attending Western University School of Dental Medicine, I will not hesitate to seek outside assistance."
