"I find inspiration in a variety of people and things. I would have to say that the person who has most greatly inspired me has been my grandmother. She always had a smile on her face no matter how hard she worked and she loved everyone. She was well respected and always gave more than she received. I try to live like she did, as much as I can."

I would say my grandfather inspired me. Since I had the opportunity to live with my grandparents and mom, I got to see my grandfather's work ethic at a young age. The way he always strived for more, while having a family as well. He always pushed me to be better and I wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for him. I wish more than anything I could tell him about all the accomplishments that I have including getting an interview with your company.

When answering this open-ended interview question, there are no wrong responses. However, your answer will stand out and resonate more with the interviewer if you go into detail and ideally, tailor your answer to the traits required in the position you are discussing. Consider talking about the skills or traits you saw in your grandfather that would be valuable in the position you're applying to and how you interacted with your grandfather in ways that passed those on to you.
