"A great policy to live by in everyday life is to treat others how you would like to be treated. Therefore, I would actively listen to the customer and ask them the appropriate questions. I would also, in that situation, discuss related products that may be of use to them but are not aware of yet. For example, if a customer is inquiring about protein powders to use, I would talk them through the different types (vegan versus whey) and flavors. I could then spark their interest in BCCAs, a supplement that people often use during training. Essentially, I would ensure I am polite and providing them with correct, beneficial information."

      Rachelle's Feedback

Asking appropriate questions and then providing correct and beneficial information is a great approach to ensuring the customers' needs are met. If you have existing customer service experience, I recommend changing your phrasing from 'I would...' to 'I do...' (The question is phrased 'how do you...' rather than 'how will you...'). If this is your first work experience - sticking to 'I would' and 'I will' phrasing is just fine :)
