In essence, this is a very open ended question that leaves the ideal answer up to you to determine. Your interviewer will be looking to hear the fine details of the job that you are interviewing for and how you plan to provide the best care at all times for patients. Talk about strategies that you use to ensure that you are on top of your game in the workplace at all times. It doesn't hurt to point out that taking care of administrative duties is important, but patient care is a top priority when you are with patients. Discussing the fact that you stay organized in your work and have the ability to prioritize tasks won't hurt in your answer either.

"As an Occupational Therapist with a large patient load, providing great care all the time to every patient comes down to me having a focused and individualized approach with each patient. To do this, I have to stay organized in my job by documenting each patient accurately and timely and taking the time to review patient notes and updates prior to my time with each patient. Then, by my personalized approach from the start with each patient, I can cater my therapy with each patient to ensure that there is buy-in on their end to make the therapy process for them go much more smoothly."

"Having worked my first five years as a nurse out of school in a busy Intensive Care Unit, providing great care to each individual patient every single time is a top priority. To begin to do this, I first have to take care of myself while outside of work to ensure that I come to each shift both physically and mentally prepared. I do this by getting sufficient amounts of sleep each day, exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet. When I come to work prepared, I am able to put an individual focus on each and every patient that I work with to the best of my abilities."

I would live this vision by practicing what I usually do, which is to treat everyone from patient, to colleague, to peer, to senior with respect. I also believe that great care requires good communication skills. From that end, I am easily approachable and humble in my communication. I remain professional even when faced with pressure and stress. Thus, I believe I can live this vision, if hired.

Rachelle's Feedback
This is a good start! Since the question is asking directly how you would live this vision if hired, I recommend rephrasing your response in a way that is more actionable to this exact role. For instance, rather than saying 'I remain professional...' you could say, 'I am prepared to remain professional, even when I face pressure and stress in this role.' It's a minor tweak but may help to lead the interviewer to picture you in the role at hand.
