"I communicate that I have an open door policy to my peers and team members. I want to hear ideas, no matter how arbitrary they seem at the time. Oftentimes, my team member is onto something and they need help fully baking the idea. I like to encourage new ideas and unique perspectives to different situations and projects."

I always seek to encourage someone that has a desire to learn to share their ideas on specific problems and what can be done in their opinion to fix them. Many people are often too shy or not confident and thus refuse to share their ideas. I was once facing the same problem due to shyness. However, we must input confidence into every one to make them understand that their input is valuable.
