Question 21 of 31

How well has your college/university prepared you for the field of teaching?

"My university placed lots of importance on real classroom experience. Beginning in my first year, I was observing in local schools and working with small groups of students in their classrooms. I absolutely loved the real world experience so early on because it made teaching feel real and I had plenty of opportunity to practice. I also appreciated the amount of lesson planning we were required to do because it allowed me practice, and I received great feedback from my professors on lesson planning. While I still have plenty to learn, both of these aspects of my education leave me well situated for a career in education."
