I once trained at a nursing home and they were ordering lots of our products for use in cooking. Though the product can be used in food, I know my speech therapists agree that they should be using cheaper, other methods of thickening food up, not via increasing prescriptions with the GP which is costly. I made the nursing home aware of this and asked management to contact us to discuss, although this would technically mean losing sales, much better for trust with our customers."

"I believe integrity is an absolute requirement in both personal and professional settings. I am always honest and strive to be very transparent in my dealings with others. This has served me well as I build relationships with others. Last year I had to make a decision quickly that would result in a $100,000 addition to a machine we were purchasing. The vendor I was working with proceeded to include the add-on even though I had not yet secured funding or issued a purchase order. Because of our previous interactions and knowledge that I am trustworthy and keep my word, we were able to move forward with a "gentleman's agreement" to ensure the project progressed. I did follow through and was able to issue payment within the timeframe agreed upon."
