"Bettering my community is going to be a big part of what I do as a physician. I already volunteer at the local children's hospital and plan to continue my volunteer work after medical school. I love that Georgetown University is dedicated to social justice and serving your communities. Before my interview, I was looking at some of the groups that your medical student provide service to, and I would be so excited to work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and a place like Jill's House for children with intellectual disabilities."
