During your foray into medical school, this may be the first time you are exposed to some of the harsh realities of becoming a physician. That includes working with bodily fluids like blood and urine. The interviewers want to know that you can handle the difficult sights and experiences you will encounter during your medical school training with Georgetown University, including working with a cadaver.

"I have never been a queasy individual, and I fully understand the types of cases I will see as a medical student. I work part-time at our local drop-in shelter and have seen many situations involving blood. Rather than think about the gore, I think about the fact that it's a human being who needs my help. I believe this mentality will get me through any gruesome or undesirable situation as a medical student here at Georgetown University."

Ryan Brunner has over ten years of experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring candidates in the healthcare, public service, and private manufacturing/distribution industries.
You can keep your answer simple by discussing your ability to handle events involving blood and other bodily fluids. If you haven't worked directly with these things before medical school, let your interviewing team at Georgetown University know that you have put serious thought into this and can handle it easily. If you were exposed during prior work experiences, now is a great time to discuss that experience.
