I would grab a treat and offer it to the animal as well as approaching it to try and distract it from barcking. If barcking continues i will let my manager know so that they can handle the issue or see how they would like to go about it.

I find it easier to upsell to a customer when you actually take the time to casually talk with them and get to know them.. Find out their likes and dislikes.. or in this case their pets likes or dislikes.. and then offer them a product that you know they will benefit from in the future.

I have limited experience grooming animals but I am more than willing to continue learning how to groom them. I am not scared of them and I am also very gentle and kind with them. So, my answer to that question is No. I believe I would be able to groom any animal. Give me the proper instruction one time and I'll do a great job from there on out.
