I would cheerfully greet the customer and his/her barking companion with a hello and a smile.Ask him/her the name of the animal and why he/she seems to b so fussy. I would then show her to the toy area where her companion can find a toy to help calm them down... Promoting sales and solving the problem :)
I would grab a treat and offer it to the animal as well as approaching it to try and distract it from barcking. If barcking continues i will let my manager know so that they can handle the issue or see how they would like to go about it.
I would tell my manger and ask what they would want me to do.
I would tell the manager about the situation.
I would bring the dog a bisquet and possibly play with them.
I would try to calm the pet, by talking calmly and extending my hand out to it, and find a treat for it.
I would get down to the dogs level and great the dog and owner and try to gain the dogs trust. Or give the dog a treat and gently pet the dog maybe try playing with the dog maybe try walking the dog around so the dog can have a look around and be able to somewhat get used to its surrounding and continue to talk to the talk and say the dogs name.
clean it up
I would tell them it is ok and that i would clean it up.
I would show the customer some bags to pick up after the pet or some towels to wipe up the mess. Or, if the customer leaves the mess there, I would clean it up myself.
I would tell the owner that it was all right of s/he apologized, then get to work removing the waste and sterilizing the spot as soon as possible.
I would quickly clean it up.
Clean up the mess and possibly talk to them about getting some training here.
I would go clean it up properly, or if otherwise preoccupied, I would report it to someone who could promptly take care of the accident.
Clean it up.
why do you want to work at Petco
I like to see what I am working on and to be physicality able to see the results; I feel confidant and comfortable among animals. I believe that being able to work directly with animals to improve their lives and to be able to see that will give me a sense of fuffilment.
Because I can make a great contribution to the company and have a big interest in animals.
I want to work at petco because I have a lot of experience with animals and also with people and think that I can make a great contribution to the company.
I have always had a passion for animals and it would be a dream to be able to be around them all day and providing people with enthusiasm and knowledge with owning a pet.
I love animals and the location is conveiniant and I feel like I would excel here.
Not only do I want to work here because I love animals, but also because I am interested in a job in retail. This job allows me to put the two together.
I feel confident and comfortable among animals. And I believe I can bring a positive attitude to the workplace and to the customers.
I would love to work here because I love animals and I want to help make them feel as best they can.
Yes i have 5 cats 2 dogs a hamster and a ferret.
I have a lot of pets they are very well taken care of.
I do have a cat. His name is Stuey. he just turned two, and he lights up my world every day. He has such personality and is my furry child.
I have a hamster, his name is pepito I've had him since he was a pinky. He loves strawberry a and loves to laze around in his wheel.
Of course! I have a lot of experience upselling. I had to do a lot of it at my previous job. I find it easier to upsell to a customer when you actually take the time to casually talk with them and get to know them.. Find out their likes and dislikes.. or in this case their pets likes or dislikes.. and then offer them a product that you know they will benefit from in the future.
Yes i can i believe that as long as you approacvh a customer and determine their needs you can gradually work yourself up to finding them exactly what they are looking for and suggesting a better product as well as continuing to expand the sale.
Yes, I could. I would like to help customers find the right product that suits their pet and what they are looking for.
Yes, I believe that as long as I talk to the customer I would be able to upsell a product.
Yes always it is very importent to.
Yes i do i try to feed my puppy a bit of solid food and soft food to try an give him a litle of bith worlds i think that feeding the animals as close to natural is great for their health and keeps them happy.
Yes, I do. My cat eats a very stable amount of food everyday. I make sure he doesn't over or under eat, and the food we give him is top-notch.
My favorite pet is a puppy.
I love both of my pets equally. I have a German Shepard mix who is still a puppy and very clumsy named Lady. And a tabby cat named Dory. Both their names are from Disney movies.
Yes, I volunteered at the Bedford shelter cleaning cat cages in high school.
I have never volunteeered for an animal shelter before because i do not like seeing animals in that sort of enviornment where if they are not adopted they are uthinised.
I have cared for many lost animals, there was a newborn kitten that I had heard meowing outside in the winter and I went and took him inside and gave him some of my cat's soft food and water, then called an animal care team to take him to a care shelter.
Yes, I actually saw a 3 day kitten in the road and kept it for five days until I found it a home.
octopii. Otherwise only creatures that could poison me really
No I am an animal lover. I have several animals myself.
I don't disslike any animals, but the only ones I am less comfortable around are spiders and sometimes snakes.
Scorpians and spiders. But I'm not afraid of them.
No i would feel fine with any of them.
I have limited experience grooming animals but I am more than willing to continue learning how to groom them. I am not scared of them and I am also very gentle and kind with them. So, my answer to that question is No. I believe I would be able to groom any animal. Give me the proper instruction one time and I'll do a great job from there on out.
The only possible reason I would not try to groom an animal would be if it was so hostile that I feared for my safety. Otherwise, no; I'm open to grooming anything.
I have limited experience in grooming animals, except for bathing and caring for my own cat and caring for others' dogs and cats occasionally when they are unable. I would like to have training on grooming animals so that I can groom them exceptionally well myself at some point, but absolutely not, I would groom any animal that needs it, and it if is hostile at any degree, I would take the proper precautions for the safety of the animal
No, I believe I could groom and care for any animal, with the right training and tips.
No, I don't have any training at a grooming school as of now.
No i have not but i am willing to learn.
No, I do not, but I have been taking a Vet Assisting course since January and it has had a brief section on grooming. I would absolutely like to be trained to further my education on grooming, and had already been thinking about taking a grooming class after I finish this course.
No but I am a quick learner and willing to learn.
No, I haven't but I worked as a bather in a groomers.
The first time I groomed an animal was when i was really young. I have had pets all my life and being the youngest of my family, I was always the one to have to clean up after our pets and just overall take care of them. of course I couldn't be there financially but I loved taking care of my pets.
It was in 2010 I bought a pair of clippers and shaved my yorkie and astrulain Shepard.
A year ago it was my yorkie boo.
10 years old groomed dog nails, and shaved dog.
When I was a teenager or so, I had been bathing my dogs and cats, and helping a cat I had with treating their fleas, and I also shaved my dog with clippers in the summer a few times.
When I was 12 I started giving my Chow baths and trimmed her back hair. I do this for my dog still today, which is a German Shepard/collie mix.
I own a maltese shitzhu and have recently been grooming him .
I do on occasion. I am occasionally called to care for an animal when they are out of town, or to walk dogs. I have always groomed my own dogs and cats I've had my whole life, and kept them nice and clean and healthy.
I bathe and walk my neighbors dog when he can't.
The fact that they are your family; few things in this world can compare to the love between a pet and their human.
The unconditional love they show you, and that you can show it. they are really part of your family, they are not just a pet, I really consider my cat my son, not my pet.
The best aspect of owning a pet is that you always have a companion who loves and depends on you.
