In your mind, what makes great customer service?

Of course! I have a lot of experience upselling. I had to do a lot of it at my previous job. I find it easier to upsell to a customer when you actually take the time to casually talk with them and get to know them.. Find out their likes and dislikes.. or in this case their pets likes or dislikes.. and then offer them a product that you know they will benefit from in the future.

Yes, I believe that as long as I talk to the customer I would be able to upsell a product.

Yes i can i believe that as long as you approacvh a customer and determine their needs you can gradually work yourself up to finding them exactly what they are looking for and suggesting a better product as well as continuing to expand the sale.

I've had many pets in my days and all of them have died from old age. My most recent dog is Joe a German shepherd he is my life. I love him and play fetch with him every chance I get.

I just have my dog Sammy. Previously, I had another dog named Peanut, two mice, and a couple of fish while I was in college.

If a customer brought in a pet that would not stop barking, an obvious distraction for our customers, how would you handle that situation?

1.
From person experience I would assume the the animal is nerves and might not be accustomed to this type of environment so I might pick up ma treat or two carefully approach to avoid alarming said animal which might then led to more barking, start off with some baby talk fallowed by a little bit of petting than the treats.

I would bring a treat for the pet and try to find out from the owner why the pet was unhappy.
 
3.
I would grab a treat and offer it to the animal as well as approaching it to try and distract it from barcking. If barcking continues i will let my manager know so that they can handle the issue or see how they would like to go about it.

I would cheerfully greet the customer and his/her barking companion with a hello and a smile.Ask him/her the name of the animal and why he/she seems to b so fussy. I would then show her to the toy area where her companion can find a toy to help calm them down... Promoting sales and solving the problem :)

I would get down to the dogs level and great the dog and owner and try to gain the dogs trust. Or give the dog a treat and gently pet the dog maybe try playing with the dog maybe try walking the dog around so the dog can have a look around and be able to somewhat get used to its surrounding and continue to talk to the talk and say the dogs name.

If a customer brought in an untrained pet, and it had an accident on the floor, how would you handle it?

I would do what all pet owners should do when the wee lamb has an accident, clean it up immediately.

I would tell them it is ok and that i would clean it up.

Clean up the mess and possibly talk to them about getting some training here.

I would tell the owner that it was all right of s/he apologized, then get to work removing the waste and sterilizing the spot as soon as possible.

By doing the best I can to make the dogs and owners happy making the dogs look and feel their best and providing the best service possible I strive for perfection and I always do the best I can in all situations.

Yes i do i try to feed my puppy a bit of solid food and soft food to try an give him a litle of bith worlds i think that feeding the animals as close to natural is great for their health and keeps them happy.

Yes, I actually saw a 3 day kitten in the road and kept it for five days until I found it a home.

I have never volunteeered for an animal shelter before because i do not like seeing animals in that sort of enviornment where if they are not adopted they are uthinised.

I have cared for many lost animals, there was a newborn kitten that I had heard meowing outside in the winter and I went and took him inside and gave him some of my cat's soft food and water, then called an animal care team to take him to a care shelter.

When I was a teenager or so, I had been bathing my dogs and cats, and helping a cat I had with treating their fleas, and I also shaved my dog with clippers in the summer a few times.

The first time I groomed an animal was when i was really young. I have had pets all my life and being the youngest of my family, I was always the one to have to clean up after our pets and just overall take care of them. of course I couldn't be there financially but I loved taking care of my pets.

When I was 12 I started giving my Chow baths and trimmed her back hair. I do this for my dog still today, which is a German Shepard/collie mix.

It was in 2010 I bought a pair of clippers and shaved my yorkie and astrulain Shepard.

No, I do not, but I have been taking a Vet Assisting course since January and it has had a brief section on grooming. I would absolutely like to be trained to further my education on grooming, and had already been thinking about taking a grooming class after I finish this course.

The fact that they are your family; few things in this world can compare to the love between a pet and their human.

The unconditional love they show you, and that you can show it. they are really part of your family, they are not just a pet, I really consider my cat my son, not my pet.

Do you groom pets for family and friends?

I own a maltese shitzhu and have recently been grooming him .

I do on occasion. I am occasionally called to care for an animal when they are out of town, or to walk dogs. I have always groomed my own dogs and cats I've had my whole life, and kept them nice and clean and healthy.
